- Identify 7 styles of decision making used by people in general
- Analyse a case and reflect on the decision making style and motivation behind it
- Be able to appreciate that all the knowledge, abilities and skills that they have are favours from Allah which they have to utilise responsibly
- Understand that making the wrong decisions in life can lead to great unwanted consequences
- Observe how temptations can affect one's decision making
- Memorisation Surah Al-Muttaffifin (verses 1-6)
Theme 8 : Family
- Note the importance and significance of the family unit for the society at large
- Identify how family is important
- Identify the roles and responsibilities that each member of the family has and why they have to be carried out
- Learn the art of discussion and rectify problems caused by themselves or other family members
- Identify the common strength in families and identify steps to make their home more Islamic
- Memorisation Surah Al-Muttaffifin (verses 7-12)
Theme 9 : Friends
- Identify the similarities and differences between same gender and different gender friendships
- Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy friendships
- Note the power of influence in friendships and the negative and positive peer pressure teenagers face
- Distinguish between a friend and acquaintance, also learn stories that teach the value of friendship
- Note the concept of brotherhood in Islam
- Memorisation Surah Al-Muttaffifin (verses 13-18)

Theme 9 : Conscious mind
- Begin looking at how Allah s.w.t communicates to mankind
- Look at some advice from Prophet Muhammad s.a.w on etiquettes of communication
- Learn basics of communication so as to realise what are the important points to be aware of whenever you intend to say something
- Explore the virtual communication world and relate values and principles in using it
- Appreciate and learn to read body language in human communication as to avoid the pitfalls of negative body language
- Memorisation Surah Al-Takwir (verses 1-4)
Theme 8 : Standing up for the truth
- Understand the true meaning of courage
- Instill courage in them and motivate others to be courageous
- Inculcate the value of honesty (amanah)
- Identify the bad consequences of being dishonest
- Practice giving response and learn to speak up for the truth in a pleasant and desirable manner
- Memorisation Surah At-Takwir (verses 5-9)
Theme 9 : Conscious mind
- Understand the meaning of self-reflection
- Learn that hindsight is the outcome of the influence of the heart on the thinking mind
- Apply lesson learnt from the verses in Surah Al-Baqarah in today's context
- Discover how to react and respond to the messages from the Qur'an
- Differentiate the types of working mind (conscious, sub-conscious and unconcious) in the brain

- Know the definition of Khalifah as well as the concept of Amanah in different kind of situations.
- Relate the concept of Khiyanah (Betrayal) as an opposite of Amanah.
- Understand the responsibilities which Allah has given to human beings as a khalifah – Protectors of the earth and humanity.
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 1-3
Lesson 2 : Tools Of The khalifah
- Have awareness that Allah s.w.t. provides the guidance on how to be a true Khalifah.
- Understand the broad meaning of Syariah and its sources.
- Understand that Khalifah’s responsibilities include the proper way to treat human beings.
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 4-6
Lesson 3 : Qualities Of A Khalifah
- List the characteristics of a good Khalifah.
- Understand the of Amanah(trust), Adl(justice) and Rifq (companion).
- Example of Amanah(trust), Adl(justice), Rifq(companion) in the Prophet among his sahabahs.
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 7-9
Lesson 4 : The Mufsideen
- Define Mufsideen(corrupters) and characteristics.
- Relay the stories of the past Mufsideen(corrupters).
- Identify activities that can bring harm to them and others.
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' 10-12
Lesson 5 : The Khalifah’s Safeguard
- Understand the 5 things that we have to safeguard in our life as Muslims.
- Learn basic actions to safeguard the 5 things
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 13-15
Lesson 6 : The World We Live In
- Understand the meaning of Al Ardh, Ad Dunya and Al Akhirah and their differences.
- Know how Allah created the world and the concept of ’yaum’ in Islamic perspective.
- Identify Allah’s name (Al-Mubdi’, Al-Khaliq and Al -‘Alim) and appreciate that Allah is the one who has the absolute authority in this world.
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 16-17
Lesson 7 : Our Role Model
- Get to know inspiration stories from Prophet Muhammad s.a.w as a Khalifah.
- Emulate Prophet Muhammad’s as a Rahmatal Lil ‘Alamiin
- Read and memorize Surah An-Naba' verse 18-19
Lesson 8 : The Khalifah Of Allah
- Create a scrap book in groups on the topic given, based on what they have learn in previous lessons.
