- Identify the values they have been brought up with and their values also define their self-identity.
- Note that in each and every of our hearts, Allah has placed goodness and piety.
- Discover how different people mature or gain certain knowledge or skills.
- Conclude that in life, change is necessary as we grow, to mature.
- Memorisation Surah Al-Infithar (verses 1-2).
Theme 2 : Physical Care
- Be aware of the ‘nomality’ of the sudden awareness of his/her image as part of the process of growing up into adulthood.
- Note the verse in which Allah tells us to take care of ourselves.
- Explain how to purify themselves in the case of compulsory bath (gusl).
- Be explained of the injunction of Allah for them to take care of their bodies and the implications of it.
- Be explained of the importance of creating a positive image and identity for themselves.
- Memorisation Surah Al-Infithar (verses 3-6).
Theme 3 : D' Reason U
- Discover and appreciate the importance of living a purpose-driven life.
- Examine the differences between life purposes and life goals.
- Study some man’s inventions & Allah’s creation and find out their purposes.
- Clarify and examine the concept of worship in Islam.
- Identify moments when their spirituality is challenged and how to overcome them themselves.
- Memorisation Surah Al-Infithar (verses 7-10)

- Increase gratefulness and love for their parents for every little thing their parents have done for them.
- Note the power of influence in friendship and the importance of being in a company of good friends and being a good friend themselves.
- Study the verses in the Qur’an related to values in Parents and friendship.
- Note the verses in Surah Ar Rad verse 28 where Allah said that He wants them to communicate with Him and that He will answer their invocations.
- Recall the times we have communicated with Allah in our everyday lives.
- Memorisation Surah ‘Abasa (verses 1-6).
Theme 2 : The Supreme One
- List proofs in nature that shows existence of God.
- Be clear on their position as a Muslim on the issue of “Theory of Evolution”.
- Analyse how fitrah has been illustrated in their lives.
- Compare between living a ‘worshipping’ life and ‘non-worshipping’ life.
- Examine the consequences to oneself in terms of physical, psychological, spiritual as well as in the hereafter when one decides to miss the prayers.
- Memorisation Surah ‘Abasa (verses 7-12).
Theme 3 : My Humanity
- Identify that the diversity of human race on Earth are signs of the greatness of Allah.
- List the benefits of diversity of the human race that Allah has created.
- Recognize the love and mercy that Allah s.w.t has for His creations.
- Be aware of the antagonistic relationship of Satan with Man and how this affects our efforts to fulfil our responsibilities and purpose in life.
- Describe how the envy of Iblis began in the history of the creation of Man.
- Memorisation Surah ‘Abasa (verses 13-18).

Theme 3 : The Early Muslims
- Learn of the story of the people of Prophet Nuh, Hud(‘Ad) and Salih(Thamud) a.s.
- Investigate into lives and characteristics of the ‘Ad and Thamud people.
- Learn of the story of the people of Prophet Lut a.s. and the people of Pompeii.
- Investigate into the ways the people of Sodom and Gomorrah as well as Pompeii transgressed limits through their promiscuity and perversion.
- Evaluate recent catastrophes on earth such as the tsunami, earthquakes, floods as well as deadly diseases that plague the world.
- Discuss ways to prevent Allah’s wrath individually, as well as a society and a human race.
Theme 2 : Muslims Around The World
- Learn how Islam is spread all over the world
- Appreciate the different cultures and understand the benefits of culture exchange and why Islam is not against it.
- Learned the stories of the Prophet’s s.a.w. companions who were from different race and cultures.
- Understand that the Prophet s.a.w. is sent to all of humankind, Arabs and non-Arabs.
- Be introduced to Muslims today that have contributed positively globally.
- Be encouraged to be globally aware and not see Muslim identity as a barrier to go far.
Theme 3 : The Early Muslims
- Identify the countries from which the earlier Muslims came and brought Islam to this region.
- Identify the methods by which Islam was spread in the world and especially in this region.
- Analyse certain practices of Malay/Indian Muslims which is still practiced today.
- Know whether the practices are from the teachings of Islam or not.
- Know what are the conditions in maintaining any culture, tradition, or belief unique to any race.
- Identify the roles we play as Muslims in Singapore, towards our religion, the country and its people, and also at a global level.
